1. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints second overall during the 2006 NFL Draft.
2. Reggie and the quarterback Alex Smith both attended the same high school. Moreover, they both ended up becoming finalists for the 2004 Heisman Trophy; marking the first occasion where two finalists at the same ceremony belonged to a single high school.
3. He was considered to be the country’s #1 running back in 2003.
4. On December 10, 2005, Reggie was awarded the prestigious Heisman Trophy, becoming its 71st winner and the 17th player from USC to win the award.
