1. He brought to life the character of Yoon So-joon in the 2011 revenge melodrama television series While You Were Sleeping, starring Lee Chang-hoon, Choi Won-young, Oh Yoon-ah, and Lee Young-eun.
2. Infinite released its first studio album Over the Top on July 21, 2011, and it included songs like Amazing, Julia, Real Story, Tic Toc, and others.
3. Sungyeol brought to life the character of Hwang Sung-yeol (an 18-year-old high school student) in the 2014 supernatural teen romantic drama series Hi! School: Love On.
4. Alongside Pyo Ye-jin, Lee Dong-ha, and Han Hye-rin, Sungyeol co-starred as Hong Seok-pyo in the family melodrama television series Love Returns from 2017 to 2018.
