- Maree was 6 years old when her family moved from Greenville, North Carolina to Las Vegas, Nevada where she spent the rest of her life.
- She was only 3 years old when she started playing the piano and violin and by the mere age of 11, ZaZa had already begun playing the guitar.
- As a child, ZaZa would perform cover songs across the city of Las Vegas.
- In 2014, she was crowned with the title of Miss Nevada High School.
- At the age of 14, ZaZa started the rap-duo called Cash & ZaZa with the former bassist of The Cab, Cash Colligan. However, she soon went on to pursue a solo career.
