  1. He made his first theatrical film appearance as a child actor playing the role of Young Keshav Varma in the 1971 Telugu-language romance film Prema Nagar.
  2. In 1986, Daggubati Venkatesh played Vijay (the son of multimillionaire Chakrapani) in the Telugu-language masala film Kaliyuga Pandavulu and this earned him a Nandi Award in the “Best Male Debut (Special Jury Award)” category while he was also nominated for a Filmfare Award South for “Best Actor – Telugu”.
  3. He made his Hindi film debut as Rama in the 1993 romantic drama film Anari, a remake of the 1991 Tamil film Chinna Thambi. Venkatesh co-starred in the film alongside Karishma Kapoor.
  4. He appeared as Rakesh in the 1996 Telugu-language action thriller film Dharma Chakram and this role won him the Nandi Award for “Best Actor” and Filmfare Award South for “Best Actor – Telugu”.
  5. Alongside Ritika Singh, Daggubati Venkatesh co-starred as Aditya “Aadi” in the 2017 Telugu-language sports drama film Guru. For this performance, he bagged the Filmfare Award South in the “Best Actor – Critics” category.
  6. Along with Naga Chaitanya, Raashi Khanna, and Payal Rajput, Daggubati Venkatesh co-starred as Venkatarathnam Naidu/Military Naidu/Venky Mama in the 2019 Telugu-language action comedy film Venky Mama.
