1. His family relocated to Arizona when he was 4 years old.
2. His father abandoned him and the rest of his family when he was 6 years old.
3. David’s mother had to work 2 jobs to provide for her sons that allowed Spade and his brothers to indulge in plenty of questionable and dangerous fun. At the age of 10, he owned a rifle and killed time by shooting cactus and birds in Arizona desert.
4. The comedian is afraid of spiders but loves snakes. He and his older brothers often used to head out to the desert to catch rattlesnakes with tennis rackets and keep them as pets.
