1. During his school years, he performed in the drama Naatam at the school youth festival and it ranked first in the drama category.
2. His career started with him working as a mimicry artist in a troupe called “Calicut Friends”. Subsequently, he became a part of troupes such as “Calicut Super Jokes” and “V4 Calicut”.
3. In 2014, Hareesh Perumanna made his first film appearance by playing the role of Jaliyan Kanaran in the Malayalam comedy film Ulsaha Committee. It stars Jayaram, Baburaj, Kalabhavan Shajon, Sheela, and Isha Talwar.
4. He played a minor role as Thief #2 in the 2014 Malayalam-language heist comedy film Sapthamashree Thaskaraha, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Asif Ali, Nedumudi Venu, Sudheer Karamana, Chemban Vinod Jose, Neeraj Madhav, Reenu Mathews, Sanusha, Joy Mathew, Anu Joseph, and Lijo Jose Pellissery.
