- She has legally changed her name from ‘Park So-yeon’ to ‘Park So-yeon’.
- After participating in the CMB Chin Chin Singing Competition, she won the Gold Award in 2005.
- She previously trained under SM Entertainment and was preparing to be a member (and supposedly the leader) of the girl group Girls’ Generation. However, she parted ways with the company 6 months before its debut.
- Artists like Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon, Jiae, Jiwon, Qri, Hwayoung, Areum, Dani, and Boram have been a part of T-ara.
