- Tunji Balogun (2013-2018) – The Kele Kele Love singer tied the knot with Tunji Balogun in a traditional ceremony in Lekki on November 23, 2013. The couple followed it up with a white wedding ceremony held on April 26, 2014, at Dubai’s Armani Hotel. Tiwa gave birth to their son Jamil ‘JamJam’ Balogun on July 22, 2015. Not long after, the couple began having marital problems with Balogun accusing his wife of infidelity and his mother-in-law of practicing witchcraft. - In November 2018, Tiwa bagged the ‘Best African Act’ award at the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards, making her the first woman to win in that category.
