  1. He was raised in Brentwood, New York.
  2. He was cast as a Bar Patron in the 1992 crime thriller film Juice. It stars Omar Epps, Tupac Shakur, Jermaine Hopkins, and Khalil Kain.
  3. On October 13, 1993, Erick Sermon released his debut solo studio album titled No Pressure though Rush Associated Labels and it included songs like Swing It Over Here (ft. Keith Murray and Redman), Stay Real, Hostile (ft. Keith Murray), Hittin’ Switches, Payback II (ft. Joe Sinistr), Interview, Do It Up, All in the Mind, The Hype, and Imma Gitz Mine. The album peaked at #2 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums (Billboard) chart and at #16 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
  4. Erick Sermon’s 2nd solo studio album Double or Nothing was released on November 7, 1995, through Rush Associated Labels and it peaked at #6 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums (Billboard) chart and at #35 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
  5. In 1998, he appeared in the comedy film Ride, starring stars Malik Yoba, Fredro Starr, and Melissa De Sousa.
  6. Erick got injured when he fell from the 3rd floor of an apartment building on September 25, 2001. Although the police claimed that Sermon attempted suicide, he later denied the claims and stated that it was accidental.
  7. He suffered a heart attack on November 12, 2011, and later recovered.
  8. On April 19, 2019, Erick Sermon released his 8th solo studio album Vernia which features guest appearances from artists like AZ, Big K.R.I.T., David Banner, Keith Murray, N.O.R.E., Raekwon, Styles P, Shaquille O’Neal, and Xzibit.
