  1. When Julian was 2 years old, his father became the 20th Prime Minister of Australia (1971-1972). McMahon is considered to be one of the worst prime ministers in the history of Australia.
  2. Before finding success as an actor, Julian used to work odd jobs such as a gardener and an ice-cream salesman.
  3. He was in contention to play James Bond after Pierce Brosnan‘s departure from the film franchise in 2005. But, Daniel Craig bagged the iconic role instead.
