She is known for having been cast as Abra Stone in the supernatural horror film Doctor Sleep, Harper in the time-travel mystery thriller drama television series Secrets of Sulphur Springs, and Lenore Usher in the gothic horror drama television miniseries The Fall of the House of Usher. 1. She started acting at a young age and was 7 years old when she began taking acting lessons.
2. Kyliegh Curran shifted to New York City in order to pursue her career.
3. She was cast as Young Nala in a Broadway production of The Lion King in 2015.
4. Alongside Ewan McGregor, Rebecca Ferguson, and Cliff Curtis, Kyliegh Curran co-starred as Abra Stone (or “Abba-do”, a girl with “the shining”) in the supernatural horror film Doctor Sleep in 2019. The film is an adaptation of the 2013 novel of the same name by Stephen King and serves as a sequel to Stanley Kubrick‘s 1980 film The Shining.
5. For her role in Doctor Sleep, she won the 46th Saturn Award in the “Best Performance by a Younger Actor” category.
