  2. While growing up, she was often bullied because of her freckles, which others kids used to tell her was a sign of disease. She was also called mental mouth because of her buck teeth.
  3. Her interest in acting was sparked by her acting gig in the role of Cha-Cha DiGregorio in the school production of Grease while studying in 7th grade. The acting gigs in school productions also did wonders for her shattered confidence.
  4. She decided to study acting at UCLA on the advice of her high school drama teacher.
  5. She has been a vocal critic of Donald Trump’s administration’s travel ban against 6 Muslim-majority countries.
  6. In Before I Fall auditions, she had initially screen-tested for the role of Ally. She had sent in a tape as she was visiting Berlin at that time and when she returned, she was offered the role of Elody.
