Soyou is a South Korean singer, songwriter, musician, host, and television personality who debuted as a member of the girl group Sistar in June 2010. The girl group went on to release several albums, tracks, and extended plays such as So Cool, Give It to Me, Sweet & Sour, 가식걸 (Shady Girl), Push Push, Touch N Move, Shake It, 나혼자 (Alone), Insane Love, 니까짓게 (How Dare You), 러빙유 (Loving U), Touch My Body, I Swear, I Like That, and Lonely. Sistar disbanded in 2017 and Soyou subsequently debuted as a solo artist the same year. - She initially trained under Cube Entertainment and was supposed to debut as a member of the girl group 4Minute. She has stated that she was unable to debut with the group because she lacked several qualities.
