Young Lyric Facts

  1. Her dad used to bring her everywhere with him and would always play music in the car.
  2. Her uncle had a recording studio in his house and Young Lyric would rush there after school. She not only watched him work in awe but also begged him to let her record.
  3. In 2006, her uncle finally gave in and let her record her 1st rap song at the age of 6.
  4. Young Lyric started uploading music to her YouTube channel in 2010. They were filmed by her dad’s old camera.
  5. The 1st song she uploaded to YouTube was titled Pink and Purple.
  6. Young Lyric 1st gained online recognition when she uploaded a remix of Young Jeezy’s Lose My Mind at the age of 9. She filmed the video for her classmates but it quickly went viral.
  7. Young Lyric made her acting debut as Tiffany in the TV mini-series Pigeon the Series in 2014.
