- Malaak Compton (1996-2014) – Chris Rock and Malaak Compton, who is the executive director and co-founder of StyleWorks, got married in 1996. StyleWorks is a non-profit salon that offers services to women entering the workforce after having left living on welfare. When they first met, she was working as a publicist for UNICEF. In 2002, she gave birth to a baby girl and named her Lola Simone. They welcomed their second daughter Zahra Savannah in 2004. In 2014, it was revealed that their marriage had collapsed and she had filed for divorce by the end of the year. Chris later accepted in an interview that he had cheated on his wife thinking that he would get away with it.
