Jacqueline Bisset is a well distinguished English actress who made her first credited role in Cul-de-sac in 1966.   2. Jacqueline’s mother Arlette migrated to London during World War II. She had cycled her way all the way from Paris in a desperate attempt to safeguard herself from German soldiers. While on the run, she got on to a British troop vehicle. She had worked as a lawyer prior to her marriage.
