1. It took him more than 10 months to record his popular single Hornn Blow. He had tried to record it about 10 times in the studio.
2. Initially, he wanted to become a cricketer and even played in the under-19 Punjab Ranji Team as a fast bowler. However, he had to give up his dream in 2007 after suffering a nasty injury.
3. Before he released his single Hornn Blow, he battled with depression. He claims that he was afraid of failing as a singer after having lost out on a cricketing career.
4. The single Yaar Ni Milyaa was initially written for some other singer. However, he insisted that he wanted to sing the song.
5. He was 4 years old when he first sang. His father had helped him prepare a song for his paternal uncle’s wedding.
6. The first-ever Punjabi song he performed on stage was Harbhajan Maan’s Bhij Gayi Kurti Lal.
7. His song Soch won PTC Punjabi Music Awards for “Most Romantic Ballad of the Year”, “Most Popular Song of the Year”, and “Best Music Video” in 2014.
