Havoc is an American rapper and record producer who was one half of the hip hop duo Mobb Deep, along with late rapper Prodigy. Mobb Deep became one of the most successful rap duos in history and released multiple albums, tracks, mixtapes, and extended plays including Juvenile Hell, Hell on Earth, The Infamous, Amerikaz Nightmare, Infamy, Blood Money, Murda Muzik, The Infamous Mobb Deep, Black Cocaine, Back from a Hiatus, Hit It from the Back, Shook Ones (Part II), Give Up the Goods (Just Step) (ft. Big Noyd), Love You More, Have a Party (ft. Nate Dogg and 50 Cent), Throw Your Hands (In the Air), Get Away, U.S.A. (Aiight Then), Survival of the Fittest, Temperature’s Rising (ft. Crystal Johnson), Quiet Storm, Double Shots (ft. Big Noyd), and It’s Mine (ft. Nas). Regarded as one of the most iconic figures in New York hip hop, Havoc has also produced songs for several artists such as The Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, Nas, Raekwon, 50 Cent, 112, Method Man, Mariah Carey, Puff Daddy, Big Noyd, Lil Kim, Capone-N-Noreaga, and Foxy Brown.

  1. He grew up in the Queensbridge Houses, a public housing development in the Long Island City neighborhood of Queens, New York City.
  2. Havoc met Prodigy at the High School of Art and Design.
  3. Mobb Deep released its debut studio album titled Juvenile Hell on April 13, 1993, and it included songs such as Peer Pressure, Hit It from the Back, Stomp Em Out (ft. Big Noyd), Hold Down the Fort, and Flavor for the Non Believes.
  4. Mobb Deep‘s 2nd studio album The Infamous was released on April 25, 1995, via Loud Records and it peaked at #3 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums (Billboard) chart, at #18 on the US Billboard 200 chart, and at #111 on the UK Albums (Official Charts Company).   7. He wrote a series of derogatory comments about Prodigy on Twitter in July 2012 and initially claimed that his Twitter account was hacked.
  8. Havoc’s 3rd solo studio album titled 13 was released on May 7, 2013, via Nature Sounds and it features guest appearances from Styles P, Raekwon, Lloyd Banks, Masspike Miles, Royce da 5’9″, and Twista. The album peaked at #44 on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
