  2. She’s a Capricorn, not a Sagittarius… and I honestly doubt she’s only 5 ft 2 given the fact Ariana Grande is 5 ft 1 and she’s way smaller.

    • You are probably right, especially if her shoe size is really 9. Those are monster sized feet for someone so short. My sister isn’t even a size 9 and she is 5′ 8″ tall.

      • That’s not entirely true, some small people have larger feet. I’m 5’2 and I have kinda large feet I’m an 8 1/2 or 9 (depending on the type.

      • I’m a 5’3″ woman and I wear a size 11.5 in mens shoes. One of my bosses used to call me sasquatch due to the fact that I could trade shoes with male coworkers who were over a foot taller. One of my bosses is around the 7 foot tall mark, and my shoes are only a couple sizes smaller than his.

    • BMI has nothing to do with anything. it forgets the muscle mass of a person, doesn’t take into accounts of different body types and other things. it’s also very inaccurate in general.

  7. I highly doubt the combination of height and weight. That would give her a BMI of 31,2, which is considered to be obese. Though you can clearly see that she isn’t obese…

    • Many people are uneducated about frames and body types. Many people are ignorant, like you, and assume things on a subject they hardly know anything about other than a few things they read on the internet. Muscle mass, race, genetics, body type, and frame is very important for a BMI. I am 1m56 (5″1.8) and when I was 155 pounds my BMI was 26 because I have a medium-large frame and high muscle mass. Meagan is more apple shaped from what I can see, her fat concentrates on her waist and belly so that’s why she has such slender arms. Looking at her wrist she’s a small frame so her weight is too big for her.

      Meghan’s height (157cm) and weight (68kgs) appear to have been updated since your comment. However, using the BMI index 68kgs is 7kgs overweight (for her height).

      It is possible that Meghan has been exercising and changed her diet to reduce the fat & carb’ content to be appropriate for her height and activity less (exercise). (1516-1949 kcal recommended daily calorie intake.)

      With a third of US citizens being obese, a sixth are diabetic and I won’t start on heart disease, it is not good to praise being overweight.

      Hopefully, she won’t join the statistics and maintains a healthy body! 🙂

    • Okay, so obviously you haven’t come to realize that BMI scales don’t take into account anything but height and weight. Meaning: she is obese, even if she doesn’t look it, at least according to BMI. That isn’t accurate. It doesn’t take into account muscle mass, diet, exercise, calorie intake, nothing! So, if I had to bet, she really is that heavy at her height, but as we can obviously tell from pictures, she isn’t obese.

      • BMI’s main drawback is that it doesn’t take into account muscle mass but aside from the hard working genetically gifted natural bodybuilders and the steroid taking bodybuilders one should never be in the obese range. Someone who does a lot of consistent resistance training, has normal genetics, doesn’t take PEDs and is lean has a good chance of falling into the overweight category which is an issue with the BMI system.

        In this person’s particular case would you say she is very well muscled? Does it look like she has spent years pumping iron at the gym? Not really. The BMI is an imperfect system but it actually is more often accurate than not for the general population.

        An even more impreciseis to look at a celebs picture where they spend thousands on clothes that compliment and hide certain features, take 1000s of pictures and choose the 1-3 good ones, dedicated make-up professionals and good old fashion image editing. It also doesn’t help that there are so many obese people in first world countries that we have someone lost a sense of scale on what an obese person looks like. Someone who is 200lbs overweight is obviously obese(unfortuantely not very uncommon) makes the person 30lbs overweight, who is also obese, look small by comparison. They both are at an increased risk of numerous diseases and physical ailments, unfortunately.

      • Meghan Trainor is not obese. At 5’5″ and 125 lbs she’d look like a s*cked up meth addict with her bones poking through her skin. I understand the “industry standards” for BMI may suggest what you’ve noted here they aren’t realistic or attractive.

  8. apparently she used to be 79 kg but she lost weight and now is 68kg. and only 5ft2? im 5ft3 and she doesnt look that short. i saw her in ellen show and she isnt that short compared to ellen. of course ellen is taller than her but still meghan should be around 5ft5 at least

    • I’m about 5 ft and when I took a selfie with her, she was only about 2 inches taller than me. She’s actually pretty short. I guess since she wears very high heels a majority of the time, she doesn’t seem as short as she actually is.

  10. Yep, by bmi standards she is obese. I’m 5’2″ and wear a size 12 (petite). My measurements are about 40-35-40. I wear a 34G bra (my band size would be 35″ but there is no 35 so I go with the tighter fit.) I weigh 165 lbs, so my bmi is 30.2& 30 + is obese. People are always surprised to hear I weigh that much too. That’s about the average weight of an American woman the last I heard…

  17. She used to have a little more weight around her. But i saw her live and last video dear future husband, she looks like lost a lot weight compare to first video. But she is still curvy and tats perfect. I dont think she is 68 kg in that height, because she is short, petite. sHE LOOKS LÄ°KE 60-61 KG COMPARE TO HER HEIGHT.

    • Which is obviously more like it, to look at her. No way is she 150 lbs, and no way is she a size 8.
      175 lbs, size 12 is more like it. And honestly, she’s perfect and gorgeous at that size.
