- As a sophomore, she worked as a reporter for a local cable channel.
- Thea Andrews made her first theatrical film appearance as Louise in the slasher film Prom Night IV: Deliver Us from Evil in 1991. The film is the 4th and final film in the original Prom Night film series and stars Nicole de Boer, J. H. Wyman, Joy Tanner, and Alle Ghadban.
- During her time at Queen’s University, she co-hosted (along with Cameron Dixon) Paradigm Shift, a weekly half-hour series that highlighted the works of Queen’s University’s Film Department.
