- Homi Adajania made his directorial debut with the Indian English-language thriller film Being Cyrus in 2005. Based on a dysfunctional Parsi family, the film stars Saif Ali Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, Boman Irani, and Simone Singh.
- He directed the 2012 Hindi-language romantic comedy-drama film Cocktail, starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Diana Penty, Dimple Kapadia, Boman Irani, and Randeep Hooda. The film became one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2012 and Rubina A. Khan of Firstpost rated the movie 4/5 stars, stating, “Cocktail is a contemporary film that reflects life as it happens all around us…. just as crazy, twisted, beautiful, funny, weird and lonely as anyone’s life can be.
